Alder is the brainchild of Scottish architecture practice Mary Arnold-Forster Architects.  Alder 02 expands the theme of "dwelling in the land" from edition 01 and focusses on re-purposing existing structures but also new stone buildings where local designers and makers, working on the margins, are producing work of compelling quality, much like the magazine and team itself.
