Older but wiser but older. Designed by Rhian at her Glasgow studio using this wood block serif font  gifted to me by John Easson at the Quartopress in Coupar Angus. Estimated to be over a hundred years old, and made in Glasgow or Edinburgh. Over the years she has been gifted cast metal borders of varying sizes but nothing big enough to suit poster size prints. Work has been done to re-cut these borders in GIANT LINO SQUARES which can be printed at larger sizes while preserving a more organic look and feel and the tradition of typesetting. These fonts and borders are amongst an eclectic variety of items gifted by letterpress printing friends who have either run out of space, or retired and can’t bear for them not to be used.
