Designed by Becky at her home studio in Edinburgh. Re-imagining the bird egg markings of 12 British Birds. Each egg has been drawn to scale with representative egg markings. However, the placement of the egg markings represent where each of the 12 bird species breeds within the UK. Markings shown in the top right show that those birds typically breed in the north east of the UK and markings to the bottom right indicate breeding sites in the south west. The geographical breeding data spans 40 years and so the darker marks indicate more recent breeding patterns where as lighter marks show historical sites.
