Abbie is a storyteller and illustrator inspired by Celtic myth and folklore and the stories of people and the land around us.

Her illustrations are used to create original screenprints which are then scanned to make high quality printed images available as prints and greeting cards.

The Cailleach is powerful Goddess known as a creator and weather deity and guardian of the land. She is tied to winter and the transformation of the land as the seasons turn and the wild animals we traditionally associate with Scotland: red deer, the wild boar and even wolves.  She is particularly associated with the hinds and is said to have roamed Scotland with her wild deer milking them and taking them to fresh pastures to graze.
