Abbie is a storyteller and illustrator inspired by Celtic myth and folklore and the stories of people and the land around us.

Her illustrations are used to create original screenprints which are then scanned to make high quality printed images available as prints and greeting cards.

The Cailleach is a powerful Goddess in Scottish folklore known as a creator and weather deity who guards the land and the plants and animals within it. In lore she is said to have taken a long journey each year to the shore of Loch  Ba on Mull where she would bathe in the waters and become youthful once again. One year on her journey there she stopped to nap atop Ben Cruachan while she kept watching over a well created for her deer. Befire she awoke the well overflowed and flooded the landscape below creating Loch Awe.
