Limited edition prints engineering tree ring patterns from weather data using the science behind dendrochronology. Tree rings reveal more than just the age of a tree, they reveal intricate weather forecasts dating back to year it was planted. Each ring normally represents a year but to better tell the changes in the weather, each ring within this print represents an individual day. The undulating changes throughout each ring show the variation on that day across multiple years. The lines indicate rainfall and the gaps reveal the temperatures. And so long lines and a small gap infer cold and wet days.
