Abbie is a storyteller and illustrator inspired by Celtic myth and folklore and the stories of people and the land around us.

Her illustrations are used to create original screenprints which are then scanned to make high quality printed images available as prints and greeting cards.

Am Faoilleach is the Gaelic for January taking its root from the Gaelic word for Wolf, a species which was once common here in Scotland but long since lost from our hills and forests. Here the wolf carries the Cailleach, a powerful Goddess known as a creator and weather deity and guardian of the land. She is tied to winter and the transformation of the land as the seasons turn and the wild animals we traditionally associate with Scotland: red deer, the wild boar and even wolves.
