Despite the name, mountain bothies are not always sat high in the mountains. In fact these refuges for explorers perfectly track the landscape of the British Isles. Using data from the mountain bothy association, this book explores every bothy in Wales, England and Scotland. The view through each window guides the viewer from south to north where the profile of each landscape has been created from the altitude of each bothy. The book has also been engineered so that it folds out into your very own bothy.
